Closed-loop Hall Effect sensors offer high performance and linearity benefits

PREMO is enhancing its current sensors product range with the addition of new HCT-1000-SH series, a high current Closed Loop Hall Effect Sensor.
New market trends are moving towards the uptake of high current and high frequency devices which demands accurate current levels up to 1000 Amps with any type of waveform (DC, AC, pulse, etc.).
Using a close loop solution the high accuracy and linearity is guaranteed keeping values as low as 0.1 percent. The current sensor allows overload capabilities with a measuring range up to ± 3000 Amps.
The HCT-1000-SH current sensor has been designed to meet the highest safety requirements and is fully isolated with plastic housing, meeting isolation values higher than 4000 Vac.
Intelligent electronics enable he sensor to be supplied either with ±15 Vdc or ± 24 Vdc.
